Architecture and Visualization

In the world today, you cannot separate Architecture from Visualization, the duo are complementary. Architectural ideas are best communicated using the concept of visualization. Architecture which is defined as the art and science of designing and constructing buildings and environment can not be best practiced without the use of stuffs that can easily communicate an Architect's ideas to a layman.

Visualization is defined as the process of creating a posible mental image or picture that is similar to visual imaginations. The ideas of a building you perceived and the imagined concept of how a building will appear in the real life are easily communicated through Architectural Visualization.

What you need to KNOW about presentation of your Architectural ideas and imagination VIA Images and DRAWINGS.....

Here are some things you need to know about producing mental image of your architectural imaginations...

----- You need to learn some software which are used in creating drawing files, still images, 3D, flythrough, panorama, animations e.t.c. These software are many, one just need to stick to the ones he can use best. Example of this software includes the following...

AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, Revit, 3D studio max, Artlantis. Google sketch up e.t..c

You can choose to make use of any of these software. But for people willing to learn about software on this blog, I will be giving tutorials, tips, help, and useful files, free downloads of objects and 3D scenes on AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, Artlantis and 3D studiomax. All you need to do is log in to this blog often to check newly updated tutorials and you can also register as a member of this blog for more advantages...

You also need to know how you can effectively combine these software together to get what you want.

When you have collected your brief and you have sketched how the design will look like with a pencil and a sheet of paper, you can then go to your computer and use AutoCAD to convert the sketch to a 2D drawing. After the 2D design, you van use any modelling software to model the 3D to simulate how the design will look like in the real life. You can use software like ArchiCAD, 3D studio max, Revit or sketchup to do the 3D depending on the one you can effectively use. After that, you will need to render the 3D with software like Cinema 4D, Artlantis, 3Dmax e.t.c.

We will begin to add tutorials soon, and if you have any question, you can post it in comment.

THANKS
